Seaside closes Broadway Avenue and fills it with supercars. Exotics on Broadway is a free street show on August 15, and it is exactly what it sounds like, block after block of the loud, low, and expensive, parked where anyone can walk up and gawk.
This is the accessible end of Car Week’s exotic scene. No lawn, no ticket, just modern hypercars, tuner builds, and the occasional classic lined up down a closed street with owners standing by, engines cracking to life for the crowd. It draws a younger, louder crowd than the concours lawns, and that energy is the point.
It pairs naturally with a Seaside day, since Concorso Italiano runs nearby the same weekend and parking here is easier than Carmel or Pebble Beach. Come for the walk, stay for the cold starts and the rev-limiter theater.
Bring ear protection if you are sensitive to noise, and go earlier in the day before the crowds peak. See where it fits in the ten days on the Car Week hub, and check the events calendar for the Seaside schedule. For the current details, See Monterey keeps a listing.
